PowerNation is the television station for top automotive shows like Detroit Muscle, Xtreme Off-road, Engine Power and Truck Tech. When it came to updating some of their on-air studio floors, they wanted a flooring partner that could provide different solutions for their unique needs. They partnered with QuestMark, a division of CentiMark Corporation.
PowerNation’s shows Xtreme Off-road and Truck Tech upgraded their concrete floors with polished concrete. They first repaired and filled all of the cracks, holes and chipped joints. Once all of the repairs were completed, the floors were then ground smooth prior to being polished, stained and burnished to protect them and make them highly durable. The Detroit Muscle and Engine Power floors both received epoxy coatings with decorative flakes. Epoxy is a floor coating that is used to protect the concrete, hide minor imperfections, create durability and is great looking. Check out the new floors and the processes they went through.
