When the primary system fails, the secondary containment system becomes the first line of defense against contamination of the surrounding groundwater from the chemicals which are being stored, manufactured or processed.

8250 Novolac Epoxy Resurfacer

Three component, 100% solids novolac epoxy mortar designed for applications where splash and spills of acids and chemicals occur. Recommended for traffic areas, chemical troughs curbs and chemical spill areas. Note: While suitable for most immersion applications, immersion for some chemicals will not be suitable. Consult your QuestMark Representative for further information.
Colors: Natural (unpigmented)
Packaging: 2 gal. and 5 gal. units
Pot Life: 40-60 mins. @ 70 degrees F
Recoat Time: 8-12 hrs. @ 70 degrees F

8257 & 8258 Novolac Epoxy Primer

8257 color and 8258 clear are two component, novolac epoxy primers offering high solids, good substrate penetration and low odor. They reduce air release from the substrate when applying high solids novolac topcoats, resulting in fewer surface imperfections in the high build coatings. Recommended for priming concrete and masonry substrates prior to the application of novolac epoxy mortars and/or topcoats. Both can withstand exposure to a wide variety of chemicals.
Colors: Light Grey, Medium Grey, Tile Red and Clear
Packaging: 1.5 gal., 3 gal. and 15 gal. kits
Pot Life: 2-5 hrs. @ 70 degrees F

8259 Novolac Epoxy Grout Coat

8259 is a two component, high solids novolac epoxy coating designed for the topcoating/sealing of a power or hand troweled epoxy mortar system. Can also be used as a stand alone mortar sealer and has good wear and chemical resistance.
Colors: Light Grey, Medium Grey and Tile Red
Packaging: 1.5 gal. and 3 gal. kits
Pot Life: 25-35 mins. @ 70 degrees F
Recoat Time: 7–12 hrs. @ 70 degrees F
Cure Time: (Light Foot Traffic) 12-16 hrs. @ 70 degrees F
Approx. Coverage: 267 sq. ft. per gal. @ 6 mils wet
Primer: None required

8255 Novolac Primer

Two component, 100% solids urethane/epoxy hybrid coating for surfaces exposed to vehicular or foot traffic (exterior or interior). The toughness and 20% elongation eliminates hairline crack repairs. Ideal for priming light to medium duty secondary containment or as a crack bridging primer for topcoats.
Color: Hazy clear
Packaging: 3 gal. kit
Pot Life: 20-30 mins. @ 70 degrees F
Recoat Time: 7-10 hrs. @ 70 degrees F
Cure Time: (Light Foot Traffic) 24 hrs. @ 70 degrees F

8253 Novolac Epoxy Coating

Two component, pigmented, high solids coating for areas where splash and spills of acids, chemicals and solvents occur. Ideal as a high build topcoat for traffic areas, chemical troughs and curbs over our 8000 series mortars, concrete, masonry or brick.
Colors: Light Grey, Medium Grey and Tile Red
Packaging: 3 gal. kit
Pot Life: 25-35 mins. @ 70 degrees F
Recoat Time: 5-10 hrs. @ 70 degrees F
Cure Time: (Light Foot Traffic) 10-18 hrs. @ 70 degrees F
Approx. Coverage: 90-100 sq. ft. per gal. @ 16-18 mils wet

8256 Novolac Epoxy Coating Clear

Two component, high solids novolac epoxy coating can be a stand alone coating or a receiver coat filled with paint chips, marble chips or colored sand mixtures to provide a wide variety of color. Ideal for chemical spill areas, troughs and curbs. Excellent chemical resistance and good color clarity.
Color: Clear only
Packaging: 1 gal. and 5 gal. kits
Pot Life: 30-40 mins. @ 70 degrees F
Recoat Time: 12-16 hrs @ 70 degrees F
Cure Time: (Light Foot Traffic) 24 hrs. @ 70 degrees F

8120SL Chemical Resistant Self-Leveling Epoxy Resurfacer

Three component, consisting of a pigmented, two-part 100% solids epoxy and specially graded aggregates. High gloss, abrasion resistant system withstands impact. Ideal for high build resurfacing of traffic areas where a seamless floor is desired.
Colors: Light Grey, Red, Black and Green
Packaging: 1.5 gal. kit plus 20 lbs. of specially graded aggregates
Pot Life: (1.5 gal. volume) 30-40 mins. @ 70 degrees F
Cure Time: (Light Foot Traffic) 14-24 hrs. @ 70 degrees F
Topcoat: 5-14 hrs @ 70 degrees F
