DiamondQuest Optional Polished Concrete Services

Joint Filling, Repair & Floor Patching

Construction Joints help to maintain a smooth and safe floor surface that is aesthetically pleasing and easier to clean. Over time, unfilled joints can break or spall at the edges and become potential safety hazards. Joints can be filled during the DiamondQuest process

Joint Leveling can be acheived on uneven concrete joints. Concrete slabs with differing heights at the joint intersection can be ground down for a smooth transition at those interesections.

Concrete Patching is a repair option for concrete floors that are less than perfect. Patching repairs are done early in the process to ensure a smooth blend without safety hazards.

Adhesive Removal and Surface Preparation. QuestMark can remove carpet and VCT adhesives, thin set mortar, paint, sealers and epoxy coatings prior to polishing or as a stand-alone project.

Finishes, Colors and Aggregate Exposed Concrete Options

Natural / Standard Polished Concrete. The DiamondQuest System produces beautiful, natural looking concrete floor surfaces as a result of refining existing concrete surfaces through our specialized grinding and polishing technique. The polished results can range from a low luster finish to a highly reflective sheen, depending on your needs.

Dye is the addition of dye color into the concrete during the polishing process.

Integrated Color is color added into the concrete mix prior to the pour, providing color throughout the slab. This option is only available on new concrete and needs to be addressed with the concrete placement contractor.

Fine Aggregate Exposure. Through special diamond tooling, the concrete is ground down to a level that exposes finer aggregates.

Large Aggregate Exposure. Additional steps and special tooling allows the concrete floor to be ground even deeper for exposing large aggregates
