WHAT MAKES DIAMONDQUEST POLISHING UNIQUE?
It's all in the diamonds! QuestMark uses a unique process to polishing your concrete floor with actual diamonds. After your floor has been evaluated, several steps will be planned to give your concrete floor the best opportunity to shine. The DiamondQuest process utilizes varying degrees of diamond tooling and diamond grinding to ultimately polish your floor.
1) Preparation: Concrete is prepared by metal-bonded diamond-tooling grinding to remove any existing buildups of glue, adhesive, paint or coatings. Patching and joint fill will be completed.
2) Pre-Polish: Following initial preparation, several diamond grinds are completed to flatten and hone the concrete surface.
3) Densifing: Before polishing begins, our liquid chemical densifiers are applied to ensure the concrete floor is hardened, able to resist the absorption of liquids and not produce concrete dust once the floor is complete.
4) Polishing: Polishing is a multi-step process in itself. Using specialized resin diamond tooling, these steps increase in finer grits to ultimately produce the finished polished surface
Please Note: When polishing concrete floors, every concrete floor surface, although similar, is unique and will require a slight variation in technique and approach. Each application will proceed through certain levels; there can be multiple steps within each level.
